Whitewater Rafting…

Since 1976, Wilderness Aware Rafting has set high standards that we are endlessly striving to surpass. We are proud to have been recently named Colorado’s “Recreation and Tourism Company of the Year”!

In Colorado, you can choose exciting rafting trips on the famous Arkansas River, Dolores, North Platte, Gunnison, or Colorado Rivers. In Arizona, nothing beats the fantastic Salt River near Phoenix and Tucson. Trips range in duration from 1/2 day up to 10 days. Pick from a variety of rafting opportunities including wildwater, family whitewater, guided float fishing, and inflatable kayaks. These trips represent a full range of difficulties, but most do not require any previous experience.

You will be fitted with Coast Guard approved lifejackets, and have waterproof storage for your personal items. Also included, is transportation in reliable, radio-equipped vehicles from the meeting place for each trip to the river. Comfort is a top priority and clean, size appropriate gear is available including wetsuits, splash jackets, wetshoes, sleeping bags, sleeping pads and tents. Enjoy a delicious smorgasbord lunch on one-day trips. Multi-day trips often surprise our guests with the quality and quantity of delicious, fresh, hearty meals beginning with lunch on the first day through lunch on the last day. All trips include highly trained guides that will keep you smiling and laughing all day long.
